60歳を機に、何か新しいことに挑戦したいと思い、最近話題の生成AIを始めてみることにしました。
ちょうど少し前の型のゲーミングPCを持っていたので、「これで何かできないか」と考え、知識ゼロのまま思い切って飛び込んでみました。
私たちの学生時代とは違い、今は学ぶ手段がたくさんあります。
生成AIの先駆者たちが公開しているホームページやYouTube動画など、現代は本当に学習環境に恵まれています。
さまざまな情報を調べた結果、自分にも扱えそうだと感じたのが「Stable Diffusion」でした。
右も左もわからないまま、ネットで情報を集め、インストールしてみました。
「プロンプト」というものを入力して画像を生成するらしい、ということは知っていたので、まずは日本語で「こんな画像を作りたい」と書き、それをDeepL翻訳で英語に変換してみました。
そんな感じで、私の生成AIライフがスタートしました。
このホームページでは、「Stable Diffusion」を使って生成した画像と、実際に使用したプロンプトを紹介していく予定です。
まだ始めたばかりで分からないことばかりですが、失敗も含めて少しずつ記録していきたいと思っています。
これから生成AIを始める方の参考になれば嬉しいです。
ちなみに、使用しているPCは生成AIにはややスペック不足で、グラフィックボードはGTX1060です。
1枚の画像を作るのに時間がかかりますが、夜寝ている間に生成し、翌日に確認してこのホームページに投稿しています。

At the age of 60, I decided to take on something new and started exploring the world of generative AI, which has been gaining popularity recently.
I happened to have an older model gaming PC and thought, "Maybe I can do something with this." So, without any prior knowledge, I jumped right in.
Unlike our student days, there are now countless ways to learn.
With websites and YouTube videos shared by pioneers in generative AI, we truly live in a time blessed with learning resources.
After doing some research, I found a tool that seemed manageable for me: Stable Diffusion.
Without understanding much at all, I searched online and managed to install it.
I had heard that you generate images by entering something called a “prompt,” so I started by writing out what kind of image I wanted in Japanese, then translated it into English using DeepL.
That’s how my journey with generative AI began.
On this website, I plan to share the images I’ve created with Stable Diffusion, along with the actual prompts I used.
Although I’m still a beginner and have a lot to learn, I’d like to document my process little by little, including my failures.
I hope this can be of some help to anyone just getting started with generative AI.
By the way, the PC I’m using is a bit underpowered for generative AI, equipped with a GTX 1060 graphics card.
It takes time to generate even a single image, so I let it run overnight and check the results the next day before posting them on this site.
